Two local physicians – Dr. Charles Stevens and Dr. Thomas Anderson - were acknowledged for their Distinguished Service to the Community at the Annual Meeting of Lakeview Hospital’s Medical Staff.

Dr. Charles Stevens was recognized for his dedication and commitment to internal medicine primary care. Dr. Stevens earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, and has been with Stillwater Medical Group since 1991. The board-certified internist completed his residency at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital.

Dr. Thomas Anderson was recognized for his role in growing Lakeview Hospital’s hospitalist program and for his work in improving quality of care and physician education. Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree from Michigan State University, and completed his residency at St. Paul-Ramsey Medical Center. He has been with Stillwater Medical Group since 2006.

This is the fourteenth year that Lakeview Hospital has awarded physician recognition awards. The awards are given annually by physician peers to recognize fellow physicians for their overall distinguished service to Lakeview Hospital, its patients and the community.
