New PSA Recommendations

PSA testing should be offered to well-informed men aged 40 or more who have a 10 year life expectancy. This is the new guideline issued by the American Urological Association in 2009. The PSA test remains highly controversial since it is unclear at what age men should stop testing, at what interval it should be repeated, and at what point a biopsy is needed.
