Obtaining Medication Refills
The physicians at Stillwater Medical Group work with you and your pharmacy to authorize medication refills. In fact, we now have a pharmacy onsite at our Main Campus on Curve Crest Boulevard. Here are some suggestions to make it easier for you to refill your medication.
Many medications can be refilled without a new prescription just be calling your pharmacy. For refills, plan ahead and call your pharmacy one week prior to running out of your medication.
In order to assure appropriate use and monitoring of your medication, your physician may require that you be seen before a prescription can be refilled. Therefore, it is important to call for an appointment when you have one refill left. Also, bring a list of the names and dosages of all your current medications or bring the medication bottles with you to your visit.
